The grandeous "Murder..." EP is finally available for ordering from Portrait and High-Roller. (Editions are as follows: 100 golden vinyls, 300 clear and 600 black vinyls)
    High-Roller is also to release a limited picture disc version of the debut album this spring. The long overdue cassette version of the same album was just issued by InCoffin Productions (Thailand). (Coming with a shaped logo patch. The band only has a few of these, so act fast if you want it).
    While waiting for Portrait's second fullength masterpiece, coming later this year, you may as well look out for a split 7" with Swedish criminals Motorbreath. More info soon.
    In other news, Portrait has ended all co-operation with Iron Kodex Records.

On Thursday, June 5th, 19:00, Portrait enters the Restaurant Stage on Sweden Rock Festival. Be there or weep in heaven.

STRANDERUD LEAVES  2009.05.03
David Stranderud, who throughout the past 15 months handled the bass in Portrait, is no longer a part of the band. We thank him for our time together and wish him good luck in his future endeavors. At the same time we are glad to announce Mr. Erik Jansson as the new bass player. Erik will make his live debut in two weeks from now, when Portrait performs in its town of origin Kristianstad for the first time in nearly three years. More about that here.
    Many have been asking what Portrait is up to concerning future releases, and it's about time to give you an update. A second album is in the works, and we hope to enter a studio later this year.

EUROPEAN TOUR  2009.01.11
Hell is here! February sees Portrait head for a first real tour, setting venues in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France ablaze together with Enforcer. Some dates can be found here; more to be added shortly.
    The band is also looking forward to meet the Spanish fans, playing the Battlefield festival in Valencia later this month.
